This Savannah, GA native has over 13 years of professional hands on massage therapy experience. Lakeisha graduated from the Baltimore School of Massage in 2009 & received her AA in Applied Sciences of Therapeutic Massage from Virginia College in 2012. Her passion & genuine enthusiasm for helping women during & after their pregnancy is her ministry. In 2016, Lakeisha earned the title of becoming a Certified Pregnancy Massage Therapist. She has since became a DONA Certified Postpartum Doula & Lactation Specialist. Ultimately, Lakeisha plans to provide Memphis TN with it's first spa catering solely to pregnant women.

It's not just opinion, its fact. Studies show that the emotional & physical support of a Postpartum Doula can make a significant difference in the transition period during the 4th trimester. I help new parents ( & those who've been on the parental train for a while) transition smoothly into the first initial weeks of healing and continued into the first year of life. Being able to supply families with much needed answers to the many questions they have that may not always be readily answered by their physician is my niche. Simply put, helping you is my absolute joy.

Postpartum Packages are customized specifically to the needs of your family. What one family may require of me, another may not. So ask yourself & talk to your partner about how my presence in your home would be of most help to your family dynamic's needs.
In home help includes ( but certainly not limited to ) :
light housework
organizing the baby's room
company & in home support for mommy
natural pain relief support for mommy & baby
running errands so partner may rest with mommy
accompany to baby's Dr appointments/checkups
breast & formula feeding support
basic newborn care: bathing, diapering & swaddling, formula education & options for stomach sensitivity
building baby's nursery: the "must-have list"
for couples: facilitate conversations with the two partners, identify & discuss the expectations of the first day at home with baby, educate how to fathers support mothers during recovery
All packages may have A la Cart hours added to further customize the doula experience
UPLIFT package: $720 for 20 hours of Doula support + special package perks
NURTURE package: $1440 for 40 hours of Doula support + special package perks
FLOURISH package: $2160 for 60 hours of Doula support + special package perks

"coming home" day: Once discharged from your medical facility, I will meet & assist you & your family to get settled in for your first night home jitters

Prenatal Massage:
( safe for ALL trimesters with the sanction of your OB + without any known complications )
This signature massage uses tailored table positioning with body pillows & wedges for the ultimate Mommy + Baby experience to insure lasting comfort & optimal relaxation
$130 for 60 min. / $150 for 75 min. / $170 for 90 min.
Postnatal Massage:
( safe to perform once Cesarean sutures are no longer hyper sensitive + once you are able to lie comfortably on your stomach ) This full body signature massage helps address hyper-stressed muscles from labor, delivery & postpartum healing adjustments, includes "closing the womb" techniques to help the uterus & vital organs settle back into it's pre-pregnancy position.
$130 for 60 min. / $150 for 75 min. / $170 for 90 min.
Milk & Honey Bath Treatment:
Introducing a luxuriously candle lit, relaxing infused soak for a 20-30 minute treatment after your massage session or as an A La Cart home experience. This signature bath is infused with Organic Manuka Honey, Organic Coconut Oil, Organic Epsom salt flakes & Almond Milk to leave all of your senses & body feeling enchanted in complete bliss. $45
Herbal Sitz Bath Treatment:
Introducing a signature herbal blend soaking treatment specially formulated with essential oils for antispasmatic, anti-inflammatory & antibacterial healing properties to cleanse, restore & relax your continually healing postpartum body. Treatment is recommended for a 30 minute duration after your massage experience or as an A La Cart home treatment. $50

Does a Doula replace the support of a partner, friend or family member?
It is not my job, nor intention, to replace any significant member of your family. My role is to educate, provide emotional & physical support in person ( & over the phone ) during your 4th trimester
How much time do I have with my Doula?
Our time spent together is based off the needs & demands of your family. The duration may consist of as little or as much time as you may need. Overall, I want to provide such amazing support during your 4th trimester that it leaves both parents feeling confident & ready to continue their journey through parenthood feeling fully equipped.
Do you provide probono serivces?
My dream is for every new mother to have access to Doula support to ensure a safe & healthy 4th trimester for both mommy & baby. My services are not freely given however i do offer payment plans to help lighten the burden of the total investment.
